How well does your game actually run on Valve's hardware?
Valve's badge only tells you if a game runs. SteamFPS tells you how well — a red/amber/green verdict at Low, Medium and High — and an honest “worth it”.
Three devices, one honest verdict
The same game gets a different answer on each — we rate all three.
Living-room SteamOS PC. Roughly PS5-class rasterisation — a true 1080p/1440p machine that reaches 4K 60 via FSR, not the native-4K box the marketing implies. 8 GB VRAM is its real ceiling. Valve pegs it at about 6× the Steam Deck's GPU.
ExploreStreaming-first standalone VR headset. Two answers per game: native on the mobile Snapdragon chip, or streamed from a host PC/Steam Machine over a dedicated 6 GHz link. Eye-tracked foveation keeps the bitrate down. Price and exact date still unconfirmed (DRAM shortage).
ExploreThe mature handheld. We don't re-rank what ProtonDB and SteamDeckHQ already own — Deck appears here as a comparison baseline and a first-party data source (real measured FPS power 215 game pages).
